- If you have missed a dose of Amlopres At Tablet at a given time, then take it as soon as you remember. If it is almost the time for your next dose, skip the missed dose. Do not double your dose to make up for the missed dose.
- If you have intentionally or accidentally consumed more than the prescribed amount of Amlopres At (5/50 mg) Tablet, then you might experience headache, confusion, fever, change in the heartbeat, nausea, vomiting etc. Contact your doctor immediately for further guidance.
How it works
Amlopres At Tablet is composed of Amlodipine and Atenolol. Amlodipine works by relaxing the heart muscles and blood vessels. Atenolol blocks certain substances (catecholamines) which increases blood pressure. Together these medicines relax the blood vessels and reduce the heart rate, promote a smooth flowing of the blood. This causes lowering of your blood pressure to normal levels.
