Uses of Lumigan Eye Drops
Intraocular hypertension is a condition characterised by increased fluid pressure inside the eyes. Lumigan 0.03 % Eye Drops is used to reduce the pressure inside the eyes.
Glaucoma refers to a group of eye conditions that cause damage to the optic nerve (the nerve that carries information from the eye to the brain), usually due to high pressure inside the eyes. In the case of open-angle glaucoma, the drainage canal becomes clogged and prevents the drain out of fluid from the eye. Thus, it may lead to increased pressure inside the eyes and eventually loss of vision. Lumigan 0.03 % Eye Drops is used in the treatment of open-angle glaucoma.
- If you forget to instill the dose of Lumigan 0.03 % Eye Drops at a given time, instill it in your eyes as soon as you remember. If it is time for your next dose, skip the missed dose. Do not double your dose to make up for the missed dose.
- As Lumigan 0.03 % Eye Drops is intended for external use, the likelihood of side effects due to an overdose is low. However, do not administer more than the prescribed dose.
